All barristers practicing from sets of Chambers in  England & Wales are self-employed individuals, each taking individual responsibility for the services they provide. Chambers is not a firm or partnership unlike solicitors. Practicing as a sole practitioner at an independent set only enhances that responsibility and credibility.

Shobana Iyer is as independent practitioner with a professional obligation to promote the interests of her clients, whoever they may be. Swan Chambers is committed to the protection of individuals’ rights as well as the interests of corporate clients and public and governmental bodies. With authentic independence we are able to preserve credibility yet work in synergy with Client’s teams, board of directors and In-House lawyers as well as their solicitors.

Barristers of the chambers who frequently work with members of Swan Chambers are classified as Associate Members
